FRENCH LICK SPRINGS HOTEL - French Lick, IN
Originally constructed in 1901, the French Lick Springs Hotel attracted guests from
around the country who wished to experience the natural mineral springs of the area. In 2006 Heinz Associates was comissioned for
mechanical, electrical, lighting and plumbing design for an enormous project, which included restoration of 443 guestrooms and suites,
a natatorium, spa, buffet, restaurants and retail shops as well as the addition of an 18-hole golf course. All restoration work meets
the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Restoration, allowing for federal tax credits and listing on the National Register of Historic
Places. The hotel remains open today, providing an economic boon to the French Lick community.
